What I've Been Loving - September

It’s been a little while since I’ve done a post going through my favourite things for the past month. There’s been so many things I’ve been loving over the last couple of months but didn’t get the chancel put them in a blog post. These past few months have been a time for me to try a few new makeup and skincare bits. I’ve definitely found some things worth sharing with you. With some non beauty favourites thrown in at the end of this post.

I’m going to start this post off with the one thing I’ve been loving recently. The Revolution Beauty Conceal and Define Foundation. I've been using the concealer from the same line for some time now and knew I had to give the foundation a go. There’s so many things to love about this foundation. It was quite easy to apply with the built in doe foot applicator, also very easy to blend in with both a brush or sponge. I fine it has pretty great coverage but at the same time doesn’t look heavy on the skin. Since I got this foundation it’s been the only one I’ve gravitated towards in my collection. I would recommend picking this up if you haven’t already.

Since my last favourites post Too Faced launched the Peaches & Cream collection at Mecca. I love this whole collection but a stand out product for me is the Cutie Pie Bronzer. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a bronzer as much as I love this one. It’s a mix of a different bronze colours as well as having a bit of pink to it. By using a light hand I get a nice bronze effect that isn’t too cool or warm toned. I also love to use this on the eyes when I’m feeling a bit lazy. I will take the different colours of the bronzer in the crease to give the eye definition. I would recommend you check out the full collection. The bronzer is definitely a must.

By now everyone is likely to know of the brand Wet n Wild. Not too long ago a website called Glam Raider started stocking the brand. I'd always wanted to give the brand a try and now that it's available in Australia I got that chance. There were two items I was most excited to try, one being the Mega Glow Highlighter in Blossom Glow. This highlight lives up to all the hype. It provides such a blinding glow on the cheekbones. And for someone like me with fair skin it's the perfect pink toned shade. For such an affordable highlight I’m loving it and will definitely try more of the brand in the future.

The last of the makeup favourite for the month that was September is from Morphe. Back in August Morphe finally brought us an Australian website. With that came the ability to buy things from the brand that we were not able to get out hands on before. For me it was the Continuous Setting Mist. Kathleen Lights on youtube had been saying such great things about this mist for a while now. Her opinions are what made me know I was going to buy it when I was able to. One thing I do love about this is that it's continuous. Unlike other mists where you have to keep squirting the product out, this one is so much more easy to use. I find with it being continuous that it doesn't leave any splotches or marks on the face. This would have to be the thing I recommend the most from this post.

I also have one sort of skincare product I’ve come to love over the last month. Lip balm is something that I love, especially one that actually helps hydrate the lips. Not too long ago I purchased the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. It's a balm that you apply to the lips before you go to sleep and you wake up with soft, hydrated lips. I also find myself using this during the day. For example if my lips are reasonably dry. I even apply it before I do my makeup so when it's time to apply a lip colour it goes on nice a easy. For $26 I do think it’s a pretty amazing product that everyone should add to their routine.

This month I don’t really have a moment favourite. I did however last month go and see my favourite band 5 Seconds of Summer in both Sydney and Melbourne which I loved. Being able to see my favourite band with people who also love the band is a great experience.

As for music favourites I have a couple. They’re all from the month of August but I just have to mention them. The first being Sweetener by Ariana Grande, such an amazing album. I also love the new With Confidence album Love and Loathing.

So there you have all the things I’ve been loving in the month of September. I’d love to know what some of your favourite things were.

Until next time…
