As you may know a few weeks ago Colourpop added to their no filter collection and I just had to try the new editions so I made an order. It has finally arrived and it’s time to share with you the items I purchased. I decided to make this a sort of treat myself order and bought quite a bit compared to what I usually get, so this will be a little bit of a longer haul.
The main reason for me making this order was to try the new additions to the fo filter collection. The first being the foundation. I has been waiting for Colourpop to bring out foundations and when they finally did I got my hands on a couple of shades. I chose fair 05 and fair 20. Just by looking at them it's easy to tell that fair 05 might be too light for me but fair 20 looks like it could be a good colour match.
Keeping with the no filter theme I got two more of the concealers. I have purchased the concealers previously but was struggling to find a shade that was light enough for my to highlight with but also wasn't too light. This time around I chose the shades fair 04 and fair 06. Just from the looks of these concealers one of them is going to work for me. Fair 04 looks a little more yellow which is what I like to highlight whereas fair 06 is a bit more pink but I think I'll still get use out of that shade.
Another two of the new additions to the no filter range include the sheer pressed powder and the loose setting powder. I love trying new pressed powders and the whole sheer setting powder thing intrigued me as I only own full coverage powders. I went for the shade fair which I'm hoping isn't too light for me. This might become a nice powder to have in my handbag for touch ups or maybe even setting the under-eyes. As for the loose setting powder I got it in the shade translucent. Loose powders are my favourite for setting my under-eyes after concealer. I love to either bake or just lightly set and I'm hoping this powder works for both of those methods.
On to other things I got. I ordered one of the bronzers. I love the Colourpop pressed cheek powders a lot but had never bothered to purchase a bronzer till now. I went for the shade Private Party which looks like it will be a good colour for me to add some warmth to the face. If it's anything like their other pressed powder cheek products then I know I'm going to love it.
Some of my favourite lip products come from Colourpop so I just has to get some more. I purchased two Luxe Lipsticks both in more of a nude shades Appy & Quickie. They look like they will go with quite a few makeup looks and I think I'm really going to enjoy these two lipsticks. I also got one of the new Ultra Glossy Lips, in the new high shine formula. Snow Day looks like a nice pinkish gloss with a bit of a shimmer to it but it doesn’t come off too shimmery on the lips.
Lastly I got two eyeshadow palettes. The first one being Makeup Your Mind. I got this as part of a promo code Colourpop had on at the time where you could get the palette for free if you spent over a certain amount. I love the look of this palette and will definitely be using this quite a lot. The other palette was Give It To Me Straight. I’ve already has a play around with this palette and love it. It’s the perfect palette for neutral and slightly more heavy eyeshadow looks. Already know this is coming with me on my next holiday, that’s how nice it is. This also bring me close to finishing my Colourpop eyeshadow palette collection, at least of the 12 pan eyeshadow palettes.
That was everything I got from colourpop in this order. Very likely going to make another order sometime in the near future.
Until next time, Brooke
