Another month has passed. It’s already half way through the year and that doesn’t sound right. This means it’s time for me to share the products I found myself loving in the month of June. This was a month where I wasn’t wearing makeup too often but was still about to fall in love with some new products and rediscover my love for something.

It would be pretty clear by now if you’ve read some of my older blog posts that I love Huda Beauty Eyeshadows, especially the Obsessions palettes. Last month the Coral palette released at Sephora and I grabbed it the second my eyes landed on it. I have since been using it quite a lot and it is definitely my new favourite palette. The colours in this palette are just the kink that I always go towards when doing my makeup. I know this palette isn’t really winter appropriate but I love it too much to care. The shadows have such an amazing formula and are so easy to work with. The Obsessions palettes are also the perfect size for travel hence why I love them so much. Definitely worth checking out yourself if you haven’t before.

It may be winter at the moment but I still love looking nice and bronzed. There is one bronzer that I keep going back to at the moment and it’s the Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Sun-Kissed. This is another one of the more recent additions to my makeup collection and something I’d been wanting to try for quite some time. I just really love the warmth this bronzer brings to my skin. And with the right kind of brush you can get a light bronze or build it up for a more bronzier look. It’s definitely the one item I’ve used every time I’ve done my makeup recently.

Speaking of cheek products there’s another item I haven’t been able to put down since I purchased it. Highlighter is definitely one of my favourite parts of my makeup routine and I’ve recently been enjoying a more softer highlight. The highlight I’ve been using for this is another new addition to my collection, it’s the Nars Highlighting Powder in Capri. I’ve been in to a more lit from within glow and this highlight is perfect for that.

This past month I had rediscovered my love for the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. This has been my go-to for the majority of June. I’ve been using it both on it’s own and mixed in with other foundations, especially the Lancome Teint Idole. That combo just looks amazing on the skin. But the Born This Way foundation just had the perfect amount of coverage and staying power which is what i’ve been after recently.

Last makeup fave for the month of June is a mascara. I’m not usually one for trying out new mascaras but I had been wanting to try the MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash for quite some time and after finally purchasing it I haven’t really used any other kind of mascara. This one in particular is perfect for an easy application on the lower lashes. It also makes the upper lashes look amazing. It’s just an all round great mascara.

For favourite moments this month I don’t really have one but I do have a music fave. The music fave for June is 5 Seconds of Summer’s new album Youngblood. 5SOS is my favourite band of all time and their new album is amazing and definitely worth a listen if you like the song Youngblood.

So those were the things I was loving in the month of June, excited to see what I end up liking this month.

Until next time, Brooke
